July 2010 Artist: Photography by Cosby Lindquist

Cosby Lindquist is an artist who primarily uses photography as his medium. He has worked in Columbus for years doing freelance projects, shooting weddings and political campaigns. In the fall Cosby will begin his first year as an MFA Student at the Columbus College of Art and Design. He resides in German Village with his girlfriend and cat.

"Every time I visit Old Man’s Cave and surrounding areas I am always fascinated by the impact of human presence. During the warmer months large congregating masses descend upon the hills and valleys like invaders conquering foreign lands. Young lovers grasping pocketknives and shiny car keys carve “permanent” epitomes of love on every tree, stone, and trash can. I find an odd beauty in this wanton destruction. I look at these walls and see a symbiotic masterful artistic collaboration between mold, obnoxious teenagers, and moss." - Cosby Lindquist

Cosby's photographs are available for purchase: Prints, framed - $250
